Tomas Polensky

Tomas Polensky was born on May 26, 1987 in Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. Tomas Polensky's big-screen debut came with Praho, má lásko directed by Marketa Cerna in 2012.

Tomas Polensky is a film director during his film studies he focused on depicting dream and fantasy worlds. At Famu he was testing the limits of the film expression making experimental movies. He creates fantasy and dreamlike worlds experiments with the film language in order to capture what's below the surface of things. Tomas Polensky says that the documentary experience helped him understand the world and the people around him.
