Canadian Actor, Singer and Voice Artist Timothy E Brummund was born on August 30th,1967 in Calgary, AB. He lived most of his childhood in beautiful Creston, BC. Growing up he was inspired by many idols such as Paul Lynde, Jim Backus, Ed Wynn, John Ritter, Rodney Dangerfield, Dean Martin and Johnny Cash. He excelled in the athletics of hockey, golf and soccer. Once after being cast as the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz, he tore his cartilage in his left knee playing soccer. In the performance they bandaged him from head to toe and the director announced to audience that they had a Lion "so cowardly that he had been beat up by a pussycat". During that performance and impersonating the great Burt Lahr, he knew he wanted to become an Actor! In 1985 he moved to Edmonton, AB and went school at Concordia College and Grant MacEwan College, where he fine tuned his craft. Timothy found inspirations from many actors over the next 15 years and has always felt that the talent pool in the Edmonton Theatre scene is second to none. He performed at the Citadel Theatre from 1993-1995 under the direction of Robin Phillips, and was honoured to work along side many iconic Canadian performers such as Brent Carver, Stephen Ouimette and Susan Gilmore. During that time, Timothy would voice several TV and radio commercials and in 1999 moved to Vancouver to pursue a film and voice acting career. There he worked in the such films as A Guy Thing and Spasm and would voice several video games....breaking into the Vancouver Animation scene was going to take some time. In 2003 he was cast in the Mirvish Production of Mamma Mia and would move to Toronto, ON. This lead him to roles in the films Four Brothers and 72 Hours: True Crime. Moving back to Vancouver in 2010, he landed roles in Smallville and Continuum and would voice the role of Doug in Bedbugs: A Musical Love Story. Timothy continued to use his vocal talents in countless theatre productions over the next several years, including the role of the Man in Black in Johnny Cash: The Ring of Fire.Voice matching and impersonations have always been his strongest talent. Timothy convinced a Talent Agent to submit him for any voice acting that came across his desk and in the Fall of 2016 he landed the iconic role of Megabyte in Reboot: The Guardian Code.
