Tiago Teixeira is an award-winning director and screenwriter based in London. His films have screened in festivals like the London Short Film Festival, Go Short, Aesthetica Film Festival, Telluride Horror Film Festival and Frightfest (2018 and 2019).Tiago joined the Brazilian SESC Rio Screenwriters Lab twice as a writer. He returned later as a tutor. Between its participants are included Oscar Winners such as Alexandre Payne (Sideways) and Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons).His short film, "Wrong Number", has won best horror film and best actress at the 6 on Nebraska film festival. "Dog Skin" has won 4 awards at the Rio Fantastik Film Festival, including Best Horror, Best Director, the Rio de Janeiro Film Critics Association Best Director award and Best actress.He is also a screenwriter on the two seasons of HBO's "El Hipnotizador". He has worked with on script development with Rodrigo Teixeira (RT Features) and with Directors Domingos Oliveira and Marcos Bernstein. He has also published a book of short horror stories set in São Paulo called "Fuligem".
