Sunil Thapa was born on May 19, 1957 in Nepal. Sunil Thapa's big-screen debut came with Ek Duuje Ke Liye directed by K. Balachander in 1981, strarring Librarian. Sunil Thapa is known for America Boys directed by Prabesh Poudel, Arpan Thapa stars as Michael and Abhay Baral as Ananda. The upcoming new movie Sunil Thapa plays is Captain which will be released on Mar 01, 2019.

Sunil Thapa is a well known Nepalese actor. Best known for his highest grossing at the time of releases like Chino,Ranko,Sapana. He is often called as "Raate Kaila" in media and among popular movie figures in Nepal. Raate Kaila is the character he played in Chino, which not only established him as an able actor in Nepali cinema but gave him the everlasting popularity that few actors other than the heroes in films get. He occasionally appears in Indian films also.
