Following college, she joined the cast of a Broadway revue, "Small Wonder," and then began her television career. After moving with her husband to Massachusetts in the 1950s, she became a Boston television personality. In the 1960s she began a new career as a voice-over performer; her work in voice-overs continued until 2000. Survivors include her husband (Waldo Fielding) of 52 years and two sons.
