Stieg Larsson was born on Aug 15, 1954 in Sweden. Stieg Larsson's big-screen debut came with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo directed by Niels Arden Oplev in 2009. Stieg Larsson is known for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo directed by David Fincher, Daniel Craig stars as Mikael Blomkvist and Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander. The upcoming new movie Stieg Larsson plays is The Girl in the Spider's Web which will be released on Nov 09, 2018.

Stieg Larsson's three novels (collectively known as "The Millennium Series") were published posthumously, and each became a feature film. They were entitled (for the American market) The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (originally published in 2005), The Girl Who Played with Fire (originally published in 2006), and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest (originally published in 2007). The feature films retained the same titles for the American market.
