Stephen grew up in the Atlanta area where he attended Pebblebrook High School, the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts, graduating in 2006 with a major in Drama. He then went on to study at Wright State University, graduating in 2010 with a BFA in Acting, Cum Laude.During his summers away from school Stephen studied theatre intensives hosted by UCLA, the Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York and the Atlanta Shakespeare Company.
