Stephanie Greenquist realized her passion for writing at a very young age. By the time she was ten, she had already written and performed her first play at the Greenquist Theatre, conveniently located in the living room of her childhood home. While it did less than stellar numbers in the box office, Stephanie received shining reviews from the critics, her mom and dad. Motivated by the experience, her passion for writing was born.Stephanie always had a story to tell, and through different mediums she would find a way to tell it. Her works have been published in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel newspaper, the Badger Herald, Melrose Heights magazine and most recently in the prestigious Wimpole Street Annual Writer's Anthology. Her first short film was produced in 2007, and the first feature film she wrote, entitled "Lemon Drop" is in pre-production and set to be released in 2012. She is the author of a graphic novel short entitled "Fragile Bodies," published last year by Ink Pen Mutations Press, and is shopping around a children's book and a dark comedy television pilot.Stephanie's focus is mainly on writing gritty pieces that bring attention to the communities that society too often chooses to forget about. She enjoys creating character driven pieces that depict humanity in a way that is honest and true to life.
