Stefan Avalos is an award winning Writer, Director, Producer, Editor and Visual Effects Creator. He garnered worldwide attention with his feature, The Last Broadcast, which was among the first movies to be shot digitally and the first feature film to be released digitally in commercial cinemas across the world. His movie Strad Style was an international festival and theatrical hit, winning thirteen Grand Jury Prize/Audience/best-of awards at major film festivals such as Hot Docs, Slamdance, and The Florida Film Festival. He is recognized as a cutting-edge filmmaker having continually pushed boundaries in digital cinema production, post-production and distribution. In conjunction with IFC, The Last Broadcast was also the first feature film to ever be streamed on the Internet. In addition to producing and directing films, Avalos also runs Caveman Post, a boutique VFX Studio in L.A. producing effects for Television and Feature film.Stefan has been recognized as "one of the twenty five people helping to reinvent entertainment..." by Wired magazine.
