Frazier was a professional wrestler from 1960 until 1991. He weighed 450-plus pounds and stood over seven feet tall. He had several successful identities over the years including: The Convict, Plowboy Frazier and The Giant Rebel. His greatest fame arrived in the role of "Uncle Elmer" for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1985. Uncle Elmer was married on NBC in late 1985 on an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event and became a legitimate national star in the process. He also wrestled Adrian Adonis at Wrestlemania II. Also appeared as himself in the Andy Kaufman special Sound Stage for PBS.
