He was named after Paul Newman (his second name) a favorite actor of his and both his parents.With his friend Trym Torson (from Black Metal band Emperor), Stacy produced and started filming a feature film "Behind Hidden Masks" in Norway in late April 2012. Stacy wrote and directed the film, with Trym starring. He is a close friend of the actor and musician Arch Hall Jr. From classic drive-in cinema of the 50's and 60's.Stacy previously worked for SONY's SOE (Sony Online Entertainment), in the gaming industry, and in production for FOX and ABC.As much as he's deeply immersed in all things related to art and musical Stacy's focus, is directing movies. Stacy is a fan of classic films and Marlon Brando; who he calls "God". He is the owner of Thanapaulis Films, a film production company and his partner in it, is veteran filmmaker Francis Megahy, who has directed Pierce Brosnan on a number of occasions.He strives to keep his films commercial in the vein of Bruckheimer, but appreciates older and more artistic films.
