Simple Kaul had learned Hindustani classical music in her early life. "I had learned Hindustani classical music in school for five years," reveals the actress to The Times of India, who loves listening to and singing old songs. She also said that she wants to become a playback singer in her later life. She is the owner of three restaurants in Mumbai with her friends Addite Shirwaikar and Vatsala Rajeev Raj.
