Their father, Billy Bush, is an actor who starred in films such as "Five Easy Pieces" (1970), "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" (1974), and "Jason Goes To Hell" (1993). He was billed as Billy Greenbush in those films. They have a brother Clay who was seen occasionally on Little House on the Prairie. They also had a mother Carole Kay Bush.
