Shon Edward Blotzer was born on August 28, 1983 in Raleigh, North Carolina to Mark and Janet Blotzer. He has two older sisters, Kellie and Shannon. At an early age, Shon showed a knack for entertaining and wowing audiences. He often performed in the children's plays at church. As he grew older he became apart on the ensemble group during high school where they would perform such shows as Beauty and the Beast, Oliver, Damn Yankees, and West Side Story. Shon eventually moved to Wilmington, North Carolina and enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where he studied Marketing and Film Studies. One afternoon while he was shopping downtown Wilmington he was discovered by an agent who signed him on the spot. Shon quickly landed himself a job in the wonderful world of acting. Shortly after, he soon landed roles in several independent films and even found himself auditioning for national television commercials, including Target, Budweiser and Dick's Sporting Goods.
