Sharon Kao is a Taiwanese actress who started acting when she was 14. She starred in her first TV series, "Curly Hair," produced by Public Television Service Taiwan in 2006. She then starred in her first film "Leaving Gracefully" in 2011. She had a cameo as a TV news reporter in "Lucy," directed by Luc Besson in 2014. She then went on to star in "Lokah Laqi" ("Hang in There, Kids!") directed by Laha Mebow, which she won Best New Talent of Taipei Film Awards (18th) in 2016 for. "Lokah Laqi" also won awards for Grand Prize, Best Director, Best Editing, and Best Narrative Feature at the Taipei Film Awards as the biggest winner.
