Shannon Laine is an American actress and model. She was born in Belleville, Illinois where she attended Belleville Township High School East (1998). She attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana on a full-ride soccer scholarship before transferring to the University of Texas at Dallas to complete her BA in Psychology and early childhood education.Shannon fell into acting after being approached multiple times to perform in an infomercial in Dallas, which she kept turning down. She eventually ended up accepting the offer and worked with Chuck Norris' on his Total Gym video. Her interaction on set with Chuck Norris led her to pursue acting lessons. Her reputation as "The Girl Next Door" and natural ability to act, spread through the community and she was approached by multiple directors and producers. Shannon worked on several short films and 2 feature films before moving to Los Angeles in 2003.In LA, she found her passion for commercial, print, and industrial projects. Shannon expanded her portfolio as a fitness model, landing the cover of Runner's World (Italy) and as a catalog model for ASICS.Today, Shannon continues to work as a model and actress for national and local brands.
