Sergio Quiñones was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, México on July 23rd 1966. Studied acting at the State School Centro de Estudios Teatrales CET and Broadcasting and Communication at Instituto de Comunicación Artes y Humanidades de Monterrey ICAHM. He began acting in early 1990's at Producciones Teatrales Nena Delgado. He has a CPA degree from Universidad Regiomontana and Linguistics from UANL. In 2017 he received a Best Actor Award in the "Roots of Europe International Film Festival" held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Alava, Spain for his work in the short film "Broadcast" directed by Sinhué F. Benavides.
