Sean Patrick Buttimer was born at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in the metro area, including Marietta and Kennesaw, and graduated from North Cobb High School in 2001. After high school, Sean spent 4 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, primarily in Fire Direction Control for Field Artillery. However, following the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, his unit was converted to a provisional Infantry Rifle company. While in Iraq, he also spent some time providing Fire Direction Control for Mortars. In 2005, he was honorably discharged from the Marines and officially moved to Savannah, Georgia, where he began college at Armstrong Atlantic State University. The following summer, he transferred to the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he studied Film to become a writer/ director. On 11/1/11, he moved to New York, NY, to better position himself for a Film/ TV career.
