Scott Charles Blamphin (aka. Scott Charles) is an actor and singer from Caledonia, New York. He sang his first solo at a Christmas service at the age of eight. Scott traveled the world as a principal singer with the Up With People organization in 1991-92 and he received rave reviews portraying the title role in a Los Angeles production of "Jesus Christ Superstar". He has studied with Groundlings, Michael Pointer, Steve Snyder and Leo Rossi. Scott has been seen in several national commercials, most notably as the backseat guy in the Avis/XM 'Gansta Rap' spot and as the puppy vendor in Jim Beam's 'Puppies in the Park' spot, both of which appeared on TBS' Worlds Funniest Commercials, and more recently in training videos for the TSA, FBI and The USMC, among others. He lives in Northern Virginia and has a beautiful son.
