Sarah Chang Tadayon is a Chinese Iranian American actress, writer, and producer. She writes purposeful stories inspired by the communities she comes from.While a Los Angeles native, Sarah spent her early twenties performing on television in Asia. During that time, Sarah produced an award winning short documentary, "TaiwanFamous," where she chronicled her life as a mixed-race television artist and the harsh realities of show business.Sarah moved back to Los Angeles in 2014 and took a hiatus- she moved to Ventura, volunteered at a sea lion rescue, and studied painting. She went on to study her Master's degree in Business Administration at a California State University.In 2016 Sarah returned to the Hollywood scene as an actress, and simultaneously began her writing and producing career. She has since produced several films and earned multiple screenplay awards for her original pilots "Polyester" and "The Second Sex," as well as her short film "Arezou."In Summer 2021 Sarah earned one of the two highly coveted spots as an intern with The Television Academy Foundation's - Star Trek Command Training Program, gaining a 360 experience into her favorite universe of all time.In Fall 2021 Sarah earned another highly sought after internship with Shondaland & ABC Productions where she wrote and starred in the short film "Asmund" as part of their program.Sarah has been featured in the press, most notably in the Emmy Magazine (Volume XLIII, Issue 9 2021), and wrote an article that was published on StarTrek.com titled, "Reflections from the Star Trek Command Training Program." The article centered on feeling deep and never ending imposter syndrome while in the midst of rising success.
