She was born in Mexico City. She's a renowned writer, author and director. She has 34 novels of her authorship published around the world and translated into several languages. Becerril's books include (among others) "The street of the witches" (2004 ) , " Blue Whisper " (2007 ) , "The name of the Clouds" ( 2011), " Before me, after " (2012 ) , "The Night pirates " (2013 ) , " Who are you thinking of killing " (2014 ), "Love me more" (2015), the thriller bestseller "Valley of fire" (2018) with Random House Mondadori, the winner of the international Best Noir Novel in Spain "Your corpse in the snow" (2019), translator and anthologist of "Nightmares" (book that has for first time horror stories of Richard Christian Matheson, Mick Garris and Lawrence C. Connolly, in Spanish 2019), "The silence of all dead" which have been translated into more than 10 languages. She is the first Mexican to write for the masters of horror in Hollywood. She directed the films " The Hideout ", "They are here" and the documentary "War and Compassion" . She has written several documentaries, TV series, directed and written drama of terror. She is recognized as the most prolific and important Mexican horror writer of her generation.
