His short films have been honored in over 160 film festivals around the globe - earning top awards, including the Student Emmy for his AFI thesis film. In recent years, Sam's directed, created and produced a multitude of hit shows for major networks including MTV, YouTube Originals, BET, WEtv, E! Entertainment, OWN, A&E, Lifetime, Animal Planet, Verizon GO90, Facebook Watch and Discovery Studios. Sam has consistently exhibited talent and passion in both scripted and unscripted mediums.
