Sako was born in Los Angeles. He moved to San Diego in 2000 and graduated from UCSD with a degree in Physiology and Neuroscience. He later received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from NYU in 2007. Sako lived and worked as a dentist in Las Vegas for 3 years and eventually moved back to Los Angeles. In 2014, Dr. Sako Karakozian, along with his childhood friend, established Dental Design Studio City where he has been practicing dentistry since.Sako is known for appearing as himself in Listerine's advertising campaign - Listerine Hidden Camera: How Do You Keep Your Mouth Healthy? (2014) and multiple appearances on The Doctors (2008). He has worked background on several productions and was a stand-in for a guest start on an episode of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
