SJ Evans was born and raised in a small market town, Wrexham, situated in North Wales, UK.Evans has over 14-years experience in the film industry, and has produced a variety of projects including features, critically acclaimed short films, documentaries and corporate films that have featured the likes of Danny DeVito, Dominic Cooper, Jessie Eisenberg, Tony Curtis, Luke Evans, Daniel Radcliffe, Liv Tyler and Edgar Wright.In 2009, he produced the feature length documentary 'Tattoos: A Scarred History', which includes interviews with Scissor Sisters, Danny Dyer, John Landis, Pete Postlethwaite, Mackenzie Crook and in his last interview David Carradine. The film was released nationwide on DVD by 4Digital Media in 2010 after a successful screening in Cannes and by MIG Film Group on Blu Ray in Germany in 2013.In 2012, Evans then produced the highly anticipated 'Dead of the Nite', starring horror icon Tony Todd (Candyman, Platoon), Claudio Pacifico (Prince of Persia) and Paul Fox (Westworld). In total Dead of the Nite has sold to fifteen countries including China, USA and the Middle East.In late 2013, SJ associate produced the $3.2M feature 'Extinction' starring Ben Loyd Holmes (Skyfall) and Ernesto Cantu (World War Z). The film premiered at Film 4 Frightfest in August 2014 and has already sold to the UK, US, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, Japan and South Korea.In 2016 he produced the $2m fantasy drama 'Amy and Sophia' with Julian Glover & Denise Van Outen and the experimental drama 'Hiraeth'.
