Ryan Sands began her career as a model in Northern California. For five years she did print work, appearing on magazine covers as well as interiors; plus fashion shows and TV commercials with the Brebner Agency in San Francisco. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, and did many TV commercials for major companies such as Levi Strauss, Sunkist, Playtex, Taco Bell, Wriggly's Doublemint Gum, and the promo for Days of Our Lives. She has appeared on Daytime TV (General Hospital and Days of Our Lives), as well as episodic TV such as Dawsons Creek, Infamous, The Oracles, Unsolved Histories, and Bill Maher's Real Time. Ryan has also appeared in independent films such as Love Potion (lead), and feature films such as More American Graffiti, Ghost Busters, and The Majestic. Her theater work includes, New York Bench (lead), The Living Room, and The Glass Menagerie. In between acting jobs, Ryan has been a highly successful motivational speaker. She wrote and stared in a short film, A Conversation with God; and has just completed writing her first feature length romantic comedy screenplay.
