Roxanne Marchand was born, raised, and still resides in New Orleans, Louisiana.She has always had a fascination with the world of entertainment and wrote, directed, and starred in her first play at the age of 8. She continued on to do commercials, print work, and stage and film acting until concentrating on her writing as well as working toward her future goal of directing.In 2008, she created and wrote the sci-fi feature film, "The Waters". Her directorial debut on a feature length film was filled with action, special effects, stunts, suspense, over 150 cast members and a multi-million dollar location. The project is set for release in 2011.Roxanne is co-developer and co-owner of Closed Door Pictures, LLC which was established March 2010. CDP's first feature project was a psychological thriller "One Desperate Day" created and written by Roxanne, who directed and produced as well.
