In 2004, The Black Forest, a horror graphic novel was co-written by Tinnell and featuring the classic moments, was released by Image Comics to great acclaim. Tinnell resides with his long-suffering wife Shannon Colaianni Tinnell and kids within comfortable driving distance of beer, sushi, a comic book store, and trout fishing.
