Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Robert was raised in the North Carolina mountain town of Hendersonville where he graduated from East Henderson High School and attended the University of Georgia where he received a journalism degree. After college, Robert worked as a studio cameraman, a game show producer and as a promotions writer/producer. Aside from his career as a screenwriter, Robert Tate Miller has had essays and articles published in Reader's Digest, numerous times in The Christian Science Monitor and in several of the Chicken Soup For the Soul books. He is the author of six novels and lives in Northridge, California.
