Robert Munic is an Emmy® and DGA award nominated writer, director and producer. He created and launched POWERBOOK IV: FORCE for Starz, A&E's The Cleaner starring Benjamin Bratt and Direct TV's ICE starring Ray Winstone. Other EP credits include: BET's anthology series TALES. Fox's Gang Related, Empire & Star as well as Vital Signs which he wrote and Executive Produced with Dr. Dre starring Michael Kenneth Williams, Ian McShane, Dr. Dre & Sam Rockwell. He is adapting Chef Keith Corbin's memoir, California Soul for Paramount TV. Unt. Damon West and Karl Kani projects for Lionsgate TV with The Tannenbaum Co. He has partnered with Michael Van Dyck and Ingrid Rogers to secure the rights to NY Times Best selling author Ted Dekker's new novel Play Dead for TV.On the feature side, Munic wrote Fighting starring Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard, Unt. NASCAR for MGM and Vision Quest for Warner Brothers. He is adapting the YA novel Nowhere But Here for Voltage Pictures.Munic served as writer, director, and producer on Showtime's They Call Me Sirr, starring Michael Clarke Duncan, which was nominated for an Emmy® and DGA Award - as well as Showtime's In a Class of His Own. Munic received an Emmy® nomination for writing the movie and won the Excellence in a Television Film award from the National Television Review Board.He and his wife Ingrid Rogers own and operate Pull The Pin Productions, Inc. where they have a slate of several projects in development.
