Robert Joseph was born in Oakland, California and raised in several locations in Northern California. He is an actor and producer whose work in feature films includes supporting roles in "Luck of the Draw" (2000), "Showtime" (2002), "Inhabited" (2003), "In My Sleep" (2010), and "Consinsual" (2010). He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in African and African American Studies with a minor in English. He first trained at the Stanford University Drama Department and later at the SAG Conservatory and the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in Los Angeles. His work in the legitimate theatre industry includes lead roles in "A Soldier's Play" at the Long Beach Playhouse and "Five on the Black Hand Side" at the Towne Street Theatre in Los Angeles. He also performed a lead role in the national tour of "Panthers." He made his network television debut on "The Young & The Restless" on CBS (1996) and has performed as a guest star on "Pacific Blue" (USA), "Nash Bridges" (CBS), "E Ring" (NBC), "JAG" (CBS), "Navy NCIS" (CBS), "Boston Legal" (ABC), and "Shark" (CBS).
