Born in Leicester in 1985, Richard is an award winning filmmaker with a portfolio of work for some of the biggest names in media.Graduating from Stafford University in 2006, he established a grounding in commercial content before directing his first documentary, SHOOTFIGHTERS, (2011). The film, which follows the amateur mixed-martial-arts scene in his home town, was an official selection at the Vegas Indie Film Festival and Leicester Doc Fest.Richard operated as First A.D on mockumentary RIPCOR: RIDING WITH MAMILS, (2014), winning Best Documentary at the Carmarthen Bay Film Festival. After moving to the United States, he edited and co-produced FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH, (2018) - an official selection at Hollyshorts, Charlotte Film Festival, Newburyport Documentary Festival, Catskills International Film Festival, Golden Door Film Festival and Bushwick Film Festival. Richard was also First Assistant Director on short comedy BLESS THIS MESS, (2018), which won the Audience Award at The Iron Mule Short Comedy Festival later that year.His documentary, THE INFAMOUS FUTURE, (2021), showing the life's work of David C. Banks and the untold story of New York's Eagle Academy ran at nineteen festivals, winning several awards including Best Documentary at Bronze Lens - before being distributed by HBO Max.Richard is the Owner and Founder of Brooklyn-based film production company - Little Crush Film Co.
