Rich Cline is a London-based journalist specialising in cinema - reviews, features, news, interviews.He was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Ecuador and has lived in Great Britain since May 1992.His film newsletter Shadows on the Wall began publication in 1985.He reviews films regularly for BBC Radio, Boyz magazine and Gay Essential, and has also covered cinema for Metro, Heat, The Mirror, Rotten Tomatoes, Film Threat, QX, Idea, Sky News, BBC News 24, Channel 4, NBC/Bravo, LBC FM, Real Movie News, Film Focus, First magazine, The List, ViewLondon, What's On, Man About Town and The Clause.He has served as a jury member at film festivals in Venice, Berlin, Abu Dhabi, Cardiff, St Louis, Thessaloniki and Turin.He is chair of the London Critics' Circle Film Awards, vice chair of the London Film Critics' Circle, and a member of Galeca, Fipresci and Online Film Critics Society.
