Reinhold Bilgeri was born in March 26. 1950 in Hohenems , Austria . He graduated in 1976 at the University of Innsbruck (Geography, Philosophy and Psychology), worked for 5 Years as a High School Teacher. Since 1989 he is married to actress Beatrix Bilgeri. In 1995 their daughter Laura was born . In 1980 he started his professional career in Showbusiness , as a Rocksinger/ Songwriter, Novelist and Screenplay Writer, Producer and Filmdirector. in the 70's 80's and 90's he landed 25 Top Hits in Austria, South Amerika and several European Countries, got several gold and platinum awards and produced and wrote TV Shows as promotion tools for his records . He wrote Radioplays , Shortstories and published in 2005 his Bestselling Novel " A Breath of Heaven" ( Der Atem des Himmels). In 2010 he made a successful Movie( Golden Rooster Award of China for Best Foreign Movie 2012) of his own Novel "Der Atem des Himmels" . Since then he produced/directed Feature Films like "Alles Fleisch ist Gras" " The Silent Mountain" and several Video Clips .
