Rachel Shepherd, having lived in thirty-four different cities throughout her life, has focused her career toward narrative film making. After earning her BFA from the acclaimed New York University Tisch School of the Arts in 2004, Rachel continued to explore the entertainment industry working for various companies such as the E! Entertainment Network, Warner Bros., and Fox. Since returning home to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, she has written and directed two feature films: Traveling (2011) and About Mom and Dad...(2014). Rachel has been honored to premiere both of her feature films at the Dallas International Film Festival and has won screenwriting awards at the Garden State Film Festival, Vail Film Festival, the Los Angeles Underground Film Festival, and the Women's Independent Film Festival. A marathon-running, filmmaking mom, Rachel prefers to find the humor and positivity in every situation.
