R. Michael McWhorter was born on Jun 11, 1976 in USA. R. Michael McWhorter's big-screen debut came with Loving the Bad Man directed by Péter Engert in 2010, strarring Tattoed Skinhead.

Born in Richmond, Virginia in 1976 he moved to West Palm Beach, Florida at the age of three. Attended Palm Beach Community Colleges film and TV program. Wrote and directed several award winning short films including "Intersection". A digital short shot for under $100 it went on to win 1st place in the student category at the 2003 Palm Beach International Film Festival and was optioned into a Hi-Def feature film titled "Redemption". Formed his production company "Tizzy Entertainment" in 2000 R. Michael played the lead role of "Tristan Kane" in Both "Intersection" and "Redemption". He moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in June of 2003 so that his wife might attend school there. He is currently writing the screenplay for a horror feature titled "Within The Woods" based on the famed Lost Colony of Roanoke, North Carolina. He is also slated to direct.
