Przemyslaw Reut was born on Mar 14, 1968 in Poland. Przemyslaw Reut's big-screen debut came with Paradox Lake directed by Przemyslaw Reut in 2002.
Przemyslaw Reut, born in Warsaw, Poland, studied journalism at the Warsaw University and filmmaking at the School of Visual Art in NYC. In mid 1990's he was involved in production of hip-hop music videos for Rought Riders and Wu Tang Clan. His student film Close-up was the first feature length movie produced at SVA. His follow up movie Paradox Lake, selected for dramatic competition at 2002 Sundance Film Festival , received several awards around the world, among them Independent Spirits Award, best feature film at Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, best audience award at New Horizons and Athens Film Festival as well as the best director and the best screenplay at Milan Independent Film Festival. In recent years Mr. Reut has been working as a director, cinematographer and editor on various commercial and art projects in the USA, Europe and Asia including POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. For several years Mr. Reut has been active in computer generated imagery and its introduction to independent cinema. He is currently developing feature length film "African Vinyl, a refugee drama set in south France and "Keyman" a crime drama set in New York.
