Preston Bruner was born in San Diego, California. He was adopted at 5 months and raised where he was born. Preston first began his acting career at his high school, performing in his first lead role at the time. His professional training began in 2014 when he auditioned and was accepted into The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He is now training at Theatre of Arts in Hollywood, the longest running acting school in Los Angeles. He has 6 years of Tae Kwon Do experience, as well as 2 years of combat training.
