Prashant Kumar Gupta, screen name Prashantt Guptha, was born in Queens, New York on May 27th 1982. His family is originally from Jaipur, Rajasthan and the family is in the Jewellery and Gem Stones business. From his early childhood he began performing on stage and by the time he was 18, he began pursuing an acting career and trained in New York at various acting programs before shifting base to Mumbai. He has done several Hindi (Bollywood) films and web-series, many of which have been critically acclaimed and box office hits. He is also a partner in a film company called Mulberry Films which specializes in developing best-selling and award winning novels for the screen. He recently produced and starred in his first American film, A New Christmas, which is a popular holiday indie film on Amazon Prime. He is a passionate poet with several of his writings and videos published. He lives between the US and India.
