Peter Stauch was born in 1975 in Augsburg, Germany. He graduated from Munich Film School HFF in 2006. During his studies he worked as a production assistant at Roland Emmerichs Blockbuster "The Patriot" and as a directors trainee on "The Day After Tomorrow". After two shorts made under the auspices of his film school, he directed his first feature "In pretty women, all tricks are allowed", produced by Wiedemann & Berg Filmproduktion. After graduation he shot numerous TV Movies and TV Series of different genres. He directed season 3 and 4 of "Der letzte Bulle" which received the German TV Award for Best TV-Series in 2012. He is also known for "Neue Adresse Paradies" (2013), "Die Inselärztin" (2018-2019) and the series "Falk" (2018), that is shown on Netflix. Peter Stauch lives in Munich.
