Paddy Madden is the stage name for Emma Hatfields, born in 1936 in England, and died January 2016 in Katoomba, NSW. In her earlier years she worked in films such as "The Vikings" (playing the disgraced wife). When she came to Australia to live, she continued to work in film and stage, crediting movie critic, Mark White, for helping her to establish herself in Australia. In latter years, she would conduct acting classes and entertain, despite a prolonged illness. She became a much loved and missed entertainer in her adopted country and especially her Blue Mountains community.
