Oskar Silén

Oskar Silén was born on May 29, 1973 in Finland. Oskar Silén's big-screen debut came with Beyond the Front Line directed by Åke Lindman in 2004, strarring Löjtnant Mattas.

Oskar has lived in Finland (Helsinki, Kuusankoski, Turku, Kauniainen), Japan (Tokyo), Holland (the Hague), and England (Bubwith - North Yorkshire) and attributes any and all demented characteristics to all this moving around - and all the good education he got at the American School in Japan and the British School in the Netherlands. After getting accepted to the Rotterdam conservatory (classical guitar) he opted for the hands-on training at John Sichel's ARTTS Int foundation course in TV, thetre & film, and, later, the Helsinki Theatre Academy. Since graduating in 1997 he has worked extensively in the finno-swedish theatre as an actor and, more recently, director.
