Nina Ljeti was born on Apr 22, 1991 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nina Ljeti's big-screen debut came with About Cherry directed by Stephen Elliott in 2012. Nina Ljeti is an LA-based Canadian filmmaker. A graduate of NYU's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, she began her career by writing and directing her first feature film, Memoria, which screened at festivals around the world. A classically trained pianist, Nina has a deep understanding of rhythm, timing, and the relationship between moving images and music. This translates into her work as a director and editor for artists such as Rey Pila, Soko, Deap Vally, Collapsing Scenery, and The Growlers. Having been recognized as a rising talent, Nina was listed in MovieMaker Magazine as one of the top 25 Screenwriters to Watch.
