Niklas Ek

Niklas Ek was born on Jun 16, 1943 in Sweden. Niklas Ek's big-screen debut came with Bröderna Mozart directed by Suzanne Osten in 1986, strarring Georg / Donna Anna's Father. Jan Niklas Ek is a Swedish premiere dancer and actor. He is the son of choreographer Birgit Cullberg and actor Anders Ek. Niklas begun dancing at 19. He is trained in Stockholm and New York, by Merce Cunningham, Martha Graham and Antony Tudor. Leading dancer at the Cullberg Ballet from 1967. He has also collaborated with Ohad Naharin, John Cranko/Fokine, José Limón, Kenneth MacMillan and Frederick Ashton. Niklas Ek has, up till now, appeared in 14 feature films and television productions.
