Nathaniel Turner
Nathaniel Turner was born on Jun 17, 1990 in USA. Nathaniel Turner's big-screen debut came with Cassandra directed by Nathaniel Turner in 2011.
Nathaniel always wanted to become a film director, writer, composer and an artist from the age of 6. When he grew up, he focused on character driven stories, along the lines of classical film narrative and experimental. He learned from books and on the job training. He has been a student and a mentor to Lighthouse Studios (a non profit organization to teach high-school kids the steps to filmmaking). He has collaborated with independent filmmakers such as Eric Hurt (Pillage and Plunder Pictures), Scott Mactavish (Mactavish Pictures), Samuel Baker (Lighthouse Studio) and Bernard Hankins. He has also been trained and mentored by Hollywood filmmakers, Jeff Wadlow (Director of Never Back Down), Leigh Kilton Smith, Jay Lavender (The Break Up), Beau Bauman, Mac Marshall and Seth Gordan. At the age of 19, several of his short films have won awards and screened at several film festivals including Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. In 2010, Turner recently made his own independent company Alexandria Pictures and made four films (3 short and one feature). He's currently finished his second feature, Cassandra, a psychological drama thriller and started editing his recent short film, Connect. Currently Cassandra is in film festival submissions stages.
