Her academic background includes music at Eastern Washington University, drama at the University of Washington and filmmaking at the University of Southern California. She started working for film studios in Los Angeles in 1997. At Sony Pictures Entertainment and Columbia Pictures she worked as temporary support for Amy Heckerling, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Don Murphy, Transformers, and Pat Sajak, Wheel of Fortune. Later at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank she supported Maggie Malone, Script Development, Tinker Bell the Movie, franchise, and Anthy Price, Media, Pirates of the Caribbean, on Stranger Tides, The Lone Ranger and many more. On a technical note she works with and teaches the Sony digital camera, NEX FS100U and before that the Panasonic AGDVX Mini DV. She edits in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut adding special visual effects with Adobe After Effects. She continues studying screen writing, lighting and camera movement with the Silver Valley Film Community.
