Nadine Khan was born on Nov 11, 1979 in Egypt. Nadine Khan's big-screen debut came with Downtown Girls directed by Mohamed Khan in 2005.

Nadine Khan is a filmmaker living and working in Cairo. She has a BA (2001) in film directing from the Egyptian Higher Film Institute. Since then, she has directed several fiction films, commercials, TV series and music videos. Her debut feature film Chaos, Disorder/ Harag w' Marag won the Jury Prize at the Dubai International Film Festival (2012), and the Best Film award at the Oran Film Festival, Algeria (2013) and the Muscat International Film Festival, Oman (2014). Khan's second feature Abu Saddam (2021) premiered at the 43rd Cairo International Film Festival (international competition) winning best actor (Mohamed Mamdouh). Khan was first noticed for her early short One in a Million (2006) which screened widely including in the official selection of the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen and the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR). She has also directed critically acclaimed TV series Seventh Neighbor/ Saabe' Gaar (produced by CBC, 2017) which was met with popular success and critical acclaim around the MENA region and Who Said So ?/Meen 2al? (2022) which premiered this Ramadan 2022 repeating the popular and critical success of her first series and topping the viewership charts of the Shahid platform.
