Mira Gittner was born on Jun 12, 1971 in Germany. Mira Gittner's big-screen debut came with The Room directed by Roland Reber in 2000.
Mira began her acting at ten years, capturing a leading role for the 'ZDF'. After receiving her degree in drama with honors, she had several engagements in theaters such as Bayerische Staatsoper Munchen as acting soloist in "La Traviata," Schauburg Munchen and with the Welt Theater Projekt (World Theatre Project) in New Delhi, India. Her credits for acting in film include "Der Schandfleck", "Zu gut fur diese Welt", Die Lowengrube" (BR), "alle meine Tochter" (ZDF), "Fast Ein Gentlemen" (ZDF) and "Abenteuerreise" (ZDF) In "das zimmer - The Room" as well as acting she also contributed as director of photography, and the visual-effects in post-production. She received the President's Award for "das zimmer - The Room" at the CINE 2000 Festival in Ajijic, Mexico for the best feature.
