Mina Mirkhah was born in Phoenix, Arizona, the youngest daughter of a Persian engineer father and an Irish teacher mother. After years of putting on informal living room performances with her older sister, the parents relented and began placing her in local stage productions. Dappling with stage performances throughout middle school and high school, she had a calling for film. After taking a hiatus from performing to graduate high school in the International Baccalaureate program and to receive her bachelors in Biology and pre-medicine she returned to film. She decided to move to New York City, where she studied at HB Studios and has since landed roles in several film projects.
