Born and raised in California, Mike Heim always knew that he was destined to have a career in the entertainment industry. After graduating from Hug High School in Reno, Nevada, he attended Truckee Meadows Community College. He quickly got bored with having to "learn by lecture" and decided to broaden his horizons by joining the Marine Corps. He graduated three military schools with top honors and quickly rose to the rank of Sergeant. After five years of service, Mike moved to Los Angeles and immediately set about making his dreams a reality. He began taking acting classes and improvisational workshops. Soon Mike had his big screen debut in Gang Of Roses, playing a yellow-bellied bartender. Meanwhile, Mike was also pursuing sketch comedy and producing, directing, and starring in several shows. He wanted to film some of the sketches that had audiences going crazy, so he purchased a couple of high-end video cameras and an editing system with money that he had made working behind the scenes in the Art Department. He now works as a cinematographer, editor, producer, director, and as an actor.
