Mikael Torfason

Mikael Torfason was born on Aug 08, 1974 in Iceland. Mikael Torfason's big-screen debut came with Falskur Fugl directed by Thoromar Jonsson in 2013.

Mikael Torfason has written eight novels, ten plays, a Netflix original and three feature films. He wrote and directed Made in Iceland, a feature film that traveled the world and was nominated to numerous prizes. Recently Torfason wrote Valhalla Murders for Netflix and his new series, Blackport, won the Grand Prix at Series Mania in 2021.
